You’ve probably seen ornaments like mine before. They look so pretty and are very easy to make. All you need is some nice paper, split pins and fishing wire or nice ribbon. You also need tools like a knife (or scissors), a cutting mat, a ruler and a perforator (or very small circle punch).
In this article I’m gonna show you how to make them.
And the best of all: I’m offering you my pre-measured templates as a download so you:
1. don’t have to buy extra pretty paper;
2. don’t have to measure every single strips of paper.
They come in the colors white with grey, as those are the main colors in our livingroom. But you can easily open the PDF’s in Photoshop and give the patterns another color by creating a new Hue/Saturation adjustment layer, ticking the ‘Colorize box’ and sliding the Hue slider.
So, how to make? I wrote all steps on the photos, so no need to write it here again.
TIP: Print the templates onto glossy photopaper and the ornaments look so more elegant!
TIP: If you use all 13 paper strips, the ornament will be too full. So you better only use 10 for the small ornaments!
TIP: If you like the bigger ornaments to be more full, just use more paper strips. About 20 would be awesome, I guess. Here, I just used 13.
So, how do you download these 9 pretty templates? It’s simple: just answer the following question in a comment below and you’ll receive the download link instantly through email….
